As a Customer Administrator, you can add categories to the inventory category and item type hierarchy.
To Add a Category
- On the Settings tab, click Categories. The Categories page opens.

If you want to…
Then…
To add at the top Categories level,
Click that folder.
To add at a lower level,
Expand the categories. Locate and the select the appropriate category folder.
- In the left pane, click Add Category. The right pane shows the fields to
- Enter the category Name and Description.
- Click Save.
