Events are actions taken in relation to an incident that are either initiated automatically by the solution or manually by a user on the Incident Dashboard. Allevents appear on the Event Logtab, except for messages or manually added log entries that are specifically marked to not be included in the log.
Certain events also appear in the Recent Eventsticker, at the bottom of the Incident Dashboard, and the HICS 201 - Incident Briefing form. The Recent Events ticker shows the 30 most recent events and it is automatically updated each time an event is added to the log.

Also, events and messages that have been given a High priority are color coded pink/red in the ticker, Event Log and Messages tabs to draw special attention to them. When one of these events occurs or a message is sent, the solution emits an audible alert.
